Inspired by the gorgeous ensemble worn
by the title character in the 1964 film “My Fair Lady” when she makes
her first appearance among Britain’s upper crust at the annual opening
day at the races, comes “Afternoon At Ascot” — a stunning lady figurine
that beautifully recreates the pomp and circumstance of Edwardian
England’s high society.

After
reviewing countless stills from the movie, Master Craftsmen individually
sculpt this figurine to display glamorous details like a hand-etched
and rubbed lace pattern to the ruffled sleeve cuffs adorned with
sculpted flowers … from handcrafted ribbon that wraps the dress in an
eye-catching manner to the magnificence of her wide-brimmed hat. Then,
talented artisans hand-paint each figurine from the hem of her gown to
the brim of her hat, including adding a glossy finish to the sculpted
ribbon to give the appearance of shiny satin.

For
a chic finishing touch, her sweeping hat is graced with genuine feather
plumes and a dazzling faux gem that makes her entire ensemble as
memorable as the gown from the movie that inspired it.
