Russian ballet, the collectible egg form created by Peter Carl Fabergé
and the black lacquer artistry of the Russian Palekh Masters, “The
Nutcracker” is the Second Issue in “The Nutcracker Ballet” Heirloom
Porcelain® Musical Egg Collection. This all-original design features a
Nutcracker inside an elaborate egg adorned with ballet artwork by the
Palekh masters.
The sculptural
Nutcracker at the heart of this treasure is hand-sculpted and painted
for charming detail and features sparkling crystal gem accents. The
surrounding egg is lavished with ornate 22K gold raised-relief
scrollwork and opulent hand-set gems in the Fabergé style. This
sparkling treasure features more than 100 Swarovski crystals,
rhinestones and faux gems in all!
The
beautiful egg and ornate base are crafted of precious Heirloom
Porcelain and adorned with a panorama of Palekh Master Natalia
Zaitseva’s stunning tribute to “The Nutcracker Ballet.” The musical egg
plays Tchaikovsky’s beloved ballet theme, “The Nutcracker Suite,” as a
perfect finishing touch.
