Long drawn to the butterfly’s inner
strength, Lena Liu now makes these “flying flowers” symbols of dignity
and determination in her striking figurines lending their support to
Alzheimer’s.
Like one of her
silk paintings, every figurine in the Enchanted Hope by Lena Liu
collection is beautifully crafted by hand. Master Artisans hand-sculpt
every tender detail — from her flowing gown that looks as if it’s been
ruffled by gentle breezes to the soft curves of her butterfly-shaped
wings … from the sculpted forget-menot flowers on her gown and in her
hair that also reflect Alzheimer’s awareness to her angelic expression
showing care and concern for all.
Once
each figurine is perfected, talented artisans hand-paint every inch of
her lavender-colored gown and the sculpted butterfly at rest on her
hand. Even the trim of her wings gleam with golden-metallic paint. Then,
they skillfully hand-apply Lena’s gorgeous butterfly artwork, along
with 32 brilliantly-cut faux gems and add a dusting of iridescent
glitter to make this one-of-a-kind figurine a shining beacon of hope in
the fight against Alzheimer’s.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of each figurine is proudly donated to Alzheimer’s awareness and research programs.
