Hand-crafted in the traditions of Rhodes Studios, and the heroic style
of gallery-quality bronze sculpture, this limited-edition, three-piece
bookend set features three of God’s most powerful servants, St. Michael,
leader of the heavenly host; St. Gabriel, God’s messenger; and St.
Raphael, angel of healing. Each is backed by a gothic arch emblazoned
with riveting full-colour artwork by the acclaimed Howard David Johnson.

Each
archangel’s armor and surroundings are enchanced with hand-applied
subtle colour, like classical bronzes found in museums and cathedrals
worldwide. And what’s more, Michael’s sword, Gabriel’s horn and
Raphael’s staff are all cast of real metal for enduring beauty. The
archangel’s names are inscribed in the base of each bookend. Each
fully-functional piece is hand-finished, and substantial enough to hold
books in place.
